we have been learning about the veitnam war while other classmates have been reasherching about the few lines they have in the musical ( the 1950-2000).We have been learing about the veitnam war during the 1970s and a few thing that happened to start the war.

We have been researching decadeds from the past! Ours was the 1950's!!!!! we found some interesting facts like when velcro fastening was first produced or when the first modern credit cards came out. We hope you enjoy our project By Luke and Emily~

This is our timeline of the 1990's. It corresponds to the speaking parts in our gifted musical.

Today we had so much fun

building things out of gumdrops.

CHESS

In chess to day I versed a really hard opponent. I captured all his pieces only his king was left and I had a horse queen and a few pawns and a rook. The game ended up as a tie because I did more than 22 checks on his king.

today we had to play with gumdrops and toothpicks and create a dome.


It was really fun and we got to eat them at the end..

Today we made geometric domes out of gumdrops and tooth picks.It was FUN!!!!!!!!!

Awsome Domes

I am Rami and today I had gifted. And we made domes
out of gumdrops and toothpicks.And my groups dome
was a triangler shape. It wasnt that stable so my group
were not impressed. Mrs. Zawis said that we could
redo our dome. We were really frustraded. Domes
was my favorite activity in gifted today. But our
dome still was a little bit stable.

Today we made gumdrop domes.We used toothpicks and of course gumdrops!It did not take very long because we worked hard.After we were done we got to take 5 and eat some our selves.Olivia :)

geodesic domes

In gifted today we learned about domes.I learned that there are two types of domes: the original dome and the Geodesic domes.The Geodesic dome consist of triangles and some sort of base.We even made our own domes out of gumdrops and tooth picks

gumdrop dome

The gumbdrop dome whas my favorite thing we did in gifted today.We took 20 toothpiks and 12 gumdrops to make the dome.You make a pintagon for the bottom then triangles rite side up then upside down around it.Next you put toothpics pointing upwards to the center of the dome all conecting to one more gumdrop.by Garrett and Adam.
