Chagall

Mark Chagall was born in Russia in a small village of vitebsk on July 7,1887.His father, Zahar,Worked in a herring packing house and Mark Chagalls mom,Feiga-ita,sold herring,flour,sugar,and spices.He is a painter that paints people floating when he is happy and people on the ground when he is sad.He got married in 1915 ton Bella Rosenfeild and she died in 1944.

top 40 was a great musical!!!
there were many different songs, parts,dances, and COSTUMES!!!!
I sure hope you enjoyed it. you might recognise some of these songs.
Hound Dog, Material Girl, Uptown Girl, Rockin' Robin,You Really got Me Goin',..... and sooo many more! the Gifted Musical was very exiting to be in,and to watch!
Thank you so much to you parents who helped us with costumes makeup and other things. we hope you enjoyed our Top 40 musical!!!

Iditarod

Today we learned about the Iditarod Dog Sleigh Race! We compared a husky and poodle, dachsund, vizsla, chihuahua, or other dogs. We learned that on even years the mushers take the northern trail and on odd years they take the southern trail. We went to these websites to learn about the dogs, www.dogbreedinfo.com or www.akc.com. We had to include the height, weight, origin, and living conditions of the husky and the second dog we chose. The race starts on March 7th. The race is 1150 miles long and last for 2 weeks. We love learning about the Iditarod!

Wow! I am so proud of everbody and what a fantastic job they did in our 3 performances of our Top 40 Musical! The show was outstanding and I was amazed by our fabulous performers. I did not get the chance to take many pictures so I would love to get pictures sent to me so that I can out them together for a slide show. Stay tuned for more about the musical...
