Mark Chagall was born in Russia in a small village of vitebsk on July 7,1887.His father, Zahar,Worked in a herring packing house and Mark Chagalls mom,Feiga-ita,sold herring,flour,sugar,and spices.He is a painter that paints people floating when he is happy and people on the ground when he is sad.He got married in 1915 ton Bella Rosenfeild and she died in 1944.

What a lovely description of his works. It is interesting how some of these Chagall prints have floating characters and some don't. Some in black and white, some saturated in color. An amazing artist Marc Chagall.
